Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Revolutionary Federation Party (ARF) Supreme Council of Armenia stated today that "Issues will not be solved by force, violence, hostage taking and terrorism, and the end doesn’t justify the means”.
This is said in the statement of ARF Supreme Council.
“Who believes the opposite to be true or supports people who do, simply excludes the prospect of having a strong, organized and free country. By creating an impression that they’re fighting for just power and just Armenia, they actially destroy Armenia.
Claims that there is no other way left to change the situation in our country are false and artificial.
There is a solution. However, that solution requires efforts, awareness in organization, consolidation of free citizens and consecutive struggle against all things that weaken us, and the base for it is being formed, even if with difficulty.
Inappropriate language, animosity, hate, violence and neglect of the people’s just expectations and dissatisfaction always split and destroy the united potential of Armenian nation. As a result, the unimaginable national unity we formed during the four-day war is now in serious jeopardy,” the statement reads.
ARF Supreme Council noted that after October 27 and March 1, this is the third attack on Armenian statehood.
“There is a danger again of wasting more years, which is fraught with new losses in internal and external life. Not to realize this and not to condemn what happened means bringing grist to our enemies’ mill.
Armenian Revolutionary Federation Party wishes for an exclusively peaceful resolution of the situation, considers new bloodshed unacceptable, demands professionalism from the law enforcement agencies, demands respect for the rights and dignity of law-abiding citizens, and resolutely condemns non-political methods of struggle and extremist mindset.
We can have and we will have a strong, free and prosperous Armenia. We must form a new power on the way to that,” stated ARF Supreme Council.
