Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia’s president signed a decree appointing Suren Papikyan minister of defense.
With another decree the president relieved Arshak Karapetyan from the post of the minister of defense.
Mediamax reports that Suren Papikyan was appointed Vice Prime Minister, replacing Tigran Avinyan in the cabinet formed as a result of June 2020 snap parliamentary elections.
