Yerevan /Mediamax/. The active shooting round of "Unity 2014” Armenia-Artsakh Armed Forces operative strategic exercises is underway at Tigranakert military training ground in Nagorno Karabakh Republic.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan, Armenian and Artsakh Defense Ministers Seyran Ohanyan and Movses Hakobyan are watching the exercises.

Mediamax correspondent from Artsakh reports that according to the exercise scenario, the conventional rival started a large-scale attack to the Armenian positions penetrating into the frontline trying to advance the attack. The Armenian reserve forces are counterattacking to restore the positions. The process is marked with unprecedented intensive shooting and movement of large number of technique. 

According to Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan during the exercise, new ''Strela-10'' surface to air missile system included in the NKR Defense Army armament system for the first time this year was presented today.

''As a commander, I can say that the strategy is quite good and properly organized. The firing results which were visible are high'', said Defense Minister of Artsakh Movses Hakobyan.
