The data backed on the studies made by Ministry of Health has been presented by the minister Anahit Avanesyan at the meeting chaired by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
As of September 23, the number of vaccinations against COVID-19 in Armenia surpassed 277,000, on September 22 over 9,900 people were vaccinated, the minister said.
Avanesyan noted that there are enough vaccines in the country and that the existing reserves are being replenished with new batches.
The minister noted that agreed with the launch of the academic year a continuous growth in cases is being recorded. She said the number of grave and severely grave cases is growing, and the intensive care units are overloaded.--
