Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has addressed a letter today to Russian President Vladimir Putin, notifying that he will not be able to attend the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War.

“I regret to inform you that I will not be able to attend the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. As you know, I was happy to accept your invitation to the ceremonies. However, as it has become clear afterwards, the pandemic-related circumstances do not allow me to make the trip. For that reason I have decided to cancel my visit to Moscow, which, as you know, has been discussed and coordinated in detail by your staff and mine,” reads the letter.

“I am looking forward to meeting you soon and having the opportunity to discuss the matters on the agenda of allied relations between our two countries,” Pashinyan added in the letter.
