Yerevan /Mediamax/. Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to Armenia on November 10-11.
Spokesperson for Russian MFA Maria Zakharova has announced at a briefing in Moscow that in Yerevan Lavrov will have meetings with Armenian Prime Minister, President and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The latter will accompany Sergey Lavrov during the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Russia’ Foreign Minister is also going to deliver remarks for faculty and students of the universities of Yerevan.
The visit is expected to include signing of the 2020-2021 program of consultations between the two countries’ foreign ministries.
“We anticipate that Sergey Lavrov’s visit to Yerevan will give additional impetus to the multidimensional allied cooperation between Armenia and Russia,” added Maria Zakharova.
