Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Ministry of Defense reports that today at around 3.15 p.m. Azerbaijani units opened fire in the direction of Armenian military positions located in Verin Shorzha section of Gegharkunik region. As a result, one serviceman received a moderate gunshot wound.
“The Armenian side applied to retaliatory actions to silence the adversary. As of 5 p.m. the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable,” the ministry said in a statement.
